The University of Oregon has established endorsement standards for Greek chapter affiliation. Students encourage achievement of the Greek community's ideals of scholarship, brotherhood/sisterhood, leadership and service, and recognize Greek organizations that strive for excellence.

Each standard identifies components necessary to ensure a quality learning environment for Greek members. Standards are divided into four categories:

• Academic Performance
• Leadership
• Community Service
• Healthy living environment

Chapters are reviewed twice each year ( October 1st and April 1st) and must meet these standards in order to maintain affiliation as a UO Greek organization.
